01What the full journey looks like
Bangkok to Laem Ngop pier (Koh Chang ferry terminal in Trat) is 315 km via Highway 7 / Highway 3 / Highway 344 — 4.5 to 5.5 hours including one comfort stop at a roadside coffee or lunch spot we use regularly. The ferry crossing to Koh Chang is 30 to 45 minutes. Then 15 to 60 minutes of island roads to your hotel, depending on which beach. Total door-to-door: 6 to 7 hours off-peak; budget 7 to 8 hours on Friday afternoons or Sunday returns.
02Ferry timing — last sailing around 18:30
Two operators run the Koh Chang ferry — Centrepoint and Ferry Koh Chang — both depart Laem Ngop hourly during daylight, with the last sailing around 18:30 (sometimes 19:00 in high season). We time the run to your hotel-side preference: Centrepoint lands at Sapparot (north end of the island), Ferry Koh Chang lands at Centerpoint pier (further south). Your chauffeur knows which terminal connects best to which beach hotel.

- Yes — we cross the ferry with you and drop at your hotel entrance on the island. Whether you're staying around Klong Prao, White Sand Beach, Kai Bae, Bang Bao at the south tip, or one of the north-end resorts, the chauffeur takes you all the way.
- What if our arrival is after the last ferry?
- Last ferry is around 18:30 (19:00 in high season). If your Bangkok pickup is late or your flight delays, we either adjust pickup time to make the ferry, or overnight you at a Laem Ngop hotel and cross first ferry next morning. Tell us your flight or pickup time when you book and we'll plan around it.
